Giclée fine art prints are the preferred choice of illustrators, fine artists, painters, graphic designers and most other visual artists. They are created using a specialised high resolution inkjet printer. Derived from the French term gicler, (meaning - ‘to squirt or spray’). This printing process mists microscopic dots of pigment-based inks onto archival-quality paper to produce the most detailed rendering of an artwork possible. They have an extremely high level of quality, longevity and value compared to a standard print and so they are the natural choice for artists who wish to produce beautiful, long-lasting, high-quality prints for their customers.
My art is printed onto sumptuous Hahnemühle German Etching paper. All Hahnemühle papers are extremely resistant to ageing and offer the highest life expectancy. It is a beautiful, heavyweight paper with a distinctive texture and has a warm base and a super matt finish to resemble an almost original painting look.
When will my artwork arrive?
Your beautiful, high-quality, fine art print is made with great love and care by my award-winning, UK-based printing company. These are bespoke prints, made to your individual specifications. Prints are usually despatched within 2-5 days for the UK. These times are approximate. Please allow up to 14 working days for your order to be delivered. If you require your order by a certain date, please allow extra time for your order to arrive.
Do you offer framing?
I do not currently offer framing.
All art prints arrive unmounted and unframed giving you the freedom to choose a frame to suit your own style and décor! If you'd like a little advice about framing, please click below to see my framing guide.
I'm not currently offering commissions. I don't plan my work as I never know what I'm going to make! I love the freedom to create work in response to the tiny bit magical moments I experience on any given day. I do sometimes produce a collection of paintings that feature a particular colour palette (e.g. shades of blue inthe Ocean Whispers collection), which may be of interest if you are seeking artwork to compliment a particular interior design.
Where do you ship to?
I currently ship fine art prints and original artwork to the UK only.
Can I track my order?
When your order is out for delivery you will receive an email from 'Shippy Pro' (my printer's shipment program). It will be branded 'Art Prints' and will provide you with the tracking number for the shipment.
Print care.
Your print will be sent to you in a strong, brown cardboard envelope - marked 'FRAGILE' or 'DO NOT BEND'. Large prints will be shipped inside a strong cardboard tube. (Please note, all shipments will be too big to fit through a standard letterbox and should not be left outside where there is a risk of water damage.)
To open your print, please remove the tear-off slip on the envelope. You'll find your beautiful fine art print secured inside a protective bag between two thick pieces of card. Large prints will be rolled in protective paper and an additional outer layer of card before being placed inside a strong cardboard shipping tube. To avoid damage, please open all packaging gently, ensuring your hands are freshly washed and dried before handling your print.
Frame your print behind glass (ideally UV-protective glass), for longevity and display in a room free from moisture.
